Oman Solar System Co. LLC belongs to the Al Bahja Group of Companies, which is one of the leading industrial groups in Oman. The group has established itself mainly in manufacturing and allied activities and has fourteen different companies with diversified interests, right from Agro products, chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, to perfumes including renewable energy systems.

Mr Ajit K Hamlai, Chairman and Managing Director of the group is an Omani national with a vision to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Oman. In a relatively short span of time, the group has established its brand image in perfumery, industrial & hygiene chemicals, agricultural farming, real estate, construction and renewable energy products due to its longstanding commitment towards Quality.

In line with this commitment, the group set up Oman Solar Systems Co. L.L.C. (OSS) in the year 1991 for the design, manufacture & installation of Solar Power systems. OSS is today an ISO9001 company and is a pioneer in the field of Solar Photovoltaic and DC Power systems in Oman. It offers turnkey solutions from concept to commissioning, with total capacity for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of Solar Photovoltaic Power Systems & DC power systems.

Our Experience
Since 1991, the company has explored different applications of solar photovoltaic energy in the Sultanate of Oman. With activities ranging from the manufacture of solar modules (the main component in a photovoltaic system), to total turnkey expertise (custom design to start-up), OSS is the only manufacturer of solar photovoltaic systems in the Sultanate.

Design, Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Turnkey Projects in Renewable Energy Systems, Instrumentation, DC Power Systems and UPS Systems.

To serve our customers better, we have incorporated the latest in design and technology. We also represent global players like, Shell Solar Netherlands for Solar Modules, EXIDE Technologies USA for Sealed Maintenance free batteries, Eudosia Shelters Italy for Passive cooled shelters, Steca Germany for charge Controllers and Digital Solar USA.

The company also manufactures passive cooled battery enclosures for installing batteries. These enclosures protect the batteries against high ambient temperature conditions experienced in desert environments.
